Computers are a tool, a multi-purpose tool, and you can do all sorts of things with them. You can listen to music, play games, surf the Internet, write a paper, program a robot, edit a video,.... the list goes on and on and on. Unfortunately, the temptation to switch from the program where you are doing
workis just one short quick little click away from doing
play.
Many of you are finding it way too tempting to make that click and go to play. As a result you are now way, way behind in getting your work done. This is a very bad habit and it is extremely hard to break. School is supposed to be the place where you learn habits that allow you to succeed in the adult world, not fail. The more you let yourself make the
clickthe more often you will be tempted to do that instead of doing your work. Adults actually get fired for playing too much on the computer instead of doing their work, so this is not a habit you want to encourage in yourself.
The
clickcan be quite addictive and it is always there hovering in the back of your mind. You have to remember the computer is a tool and here at school its primary purpose is for you to do your work, not to be entertained. Those of you who think you can do both only have to look at your grade to see if you are right or wrong.

I think that it is addicting and/or tempting to play games and not do your work. playing games is ok but if your supposed to do your work you should i might sound kind of hypocritical but it is important to do your work.
The temptation of not doing your work and playing on the computer is difficult. When there are so many things to get on to. But by not doing your work your grade gets worse. A student that always has A’s can have D’s or even F’s. By just playing on the computer can even get you out of a job or can make your work suffer. Breaking the habit is hard but it’s something that needs to be done. Or everybody would probably not do good in this class.
I think it’s important that you do your work before you play games or listen to music.
Some people have bad grades because they are so into what they are doing.
Not like me that I do my work first then I find something to do on the computer
I think that games are not vilents for kids.and kids play it everydayof the week.even adults play them some day's.
i liked the blog it was very interesting and i think young kids my age would really like this blog i enjoyed it alot.
It’s very true how both kids and adult can do lack of works when they on the computer. You work all day long, just trying to finish your work and nothing else to do. But on the other hands you can surf the internet, listen to music or play video games. It obvious if you ask 100 people and see which choice to choose. Adult and kids should do their works other than playing games. Still, at one point you will be very tire of your works. So you should only do what you interested in to do *if* you done your work or maybe half then come back to it later. Or your boss let you.
I think computers are cool to work with, But you can’t just sit there and play all the time. You have to get some work done (If you’re at work) or you could get fired. If you’re at school it is the same way, get your work done then you can play games on the computer all you want. If you are at home and you have a computer you can get on it when ever you want. You can use it to do homework, play games, and check e-mail, instant message…. And a whole bunch of other things to.
doing just work in the computer would be boring. we need to enjoy ourselfs with music and games but the games could be for after when we are done with our work. The music we could listen to it wile we are doin our work so it wont be so boring!!!
I think that it is important to break bad habits now before we are older and they will be almost impossible to break. So I think that as kids we should try our hardest to not click and be distracted because of how that could affect our future. I also think that grades are important which is another bad affect internet has on people because it can easily distract you. I think that’s if you get all your work done and then play or surf the net that should be ok but I think that if you work hard and get everything done then you can play.
I think that he has a point about getting your work turned in. Some people do have hard time turning in their work (that’s how people get F’s). Also most people get BAD HABITS!!! Most kids here in school prefer to be surfing the internet. Parents are the ones who say that the Internet is bad for you, but some parents are the ones that have bad habits.
This is mostly true because sometimes we do get a little carried away and forget to do our work or just to excited to stop playing. You keep playing and before you now it class is over and you didnt get you work done and you have an F and you complain when its really your own falt that you are failing your class.
It is true that most people can't multitasked like listen to music and doing your work.I can because it is a way I can pay attention. But if it is a game and work;I can't do that.It is still a good thing we have a computer because it is the future.
This blog is very interesting and i really liked it i. Thought it was very cool and. Its a great way to get kids to respond to what you ask them.I also think that we should be more focus. Not get side tracked on all the things that the internet has.

I think it is a bad habit.People do some times play.Not all the time we do are work and finish it.That habit is not a good one.You have to not forget the computer toy its a tool.
I think it is a habit to going somewhere where you are not suposs to go.Beacause you see people go to it all the time. You look atb every one else and you want to do it so that's why it is tempting to go on some thing your not suppose to go.
i think that computers are for many uses. that is my opinion.you could play games also.
