Well, big changes are in store for us from over the summer. A brand new curriculum, Project Lead The Way -- Gateway to Technology, has been put in place at our school. This is a pre-engineering curriculum, with GTT being the middle school version and PLTW being the high school version. Once I get everything shaken out and we get into the swing of things you should have a lot of fun with what we are going to be doing, especially towards the end of the semester!
We start out learning some enginneering fundamentals, move towards drawing and design, then drawing and design using AutoCAD on the computer, then we fabricate some of your designs. You will make a wood compressed-air dragster and a magnetic levitation car from high-density foam in the fabrication part.
What do you think about the new class so far? Do you have any concerns or worries?

i think that it is going to be a fun class! i never been in a class like this, so im hope that it and it will be fun and i can learn alot!
I THINK TYHE CLASSES ARE OK
i learn about what is nagative and positive in technology. And the production of technology, transportation of technology, and biotechnology.
no i do not i think it will be fun because i like using computers and technology. i think the compressed air dragster will be a lot of fun.
we learn about good things and bad things about technology. One good thing is that computer sends stuff that you need fast also that the can be bad because you get viruse .
THE CLASSES ARE VERY FUN. THE THINGS THAT WE ARE GOING TO DO LOOK FUN AND EXIDING.I LIKE THE CLASS BECAUSE WE GET TO USE THE COMPUTER. WE CAN GO TO PLACES WE WANT TO GO IN THE INTERNET

We learn about communication technology.{communicationwe can communicate taking whith each other. by hand ,by paper. by hand .Production technology. they make more things ,jobs,things faste. Transportation technology.cars are fast ,solar power, buses.Biotechechnology.help science evolve,curing.

class has been kinda boring i want to do experiments. i love to take things apart and try to put them back together even if i cant put them back. i love to do things with my hands. i like to see how things work. thats why i sighned up for this class, to do experiments and build things
i like it because it is fun. and because i get to us compters. i wish faster compter.
i like your class because you get to make cars and cool things.plus this class looks fun. even u get to use computers.
I think wat we have planned so far is goin to be much fun.I cant wait till we get to do a wood dragster or sumthin lyk dat.Idk but hopefully we wont hurt r selves.....well i have insurance lolz.This class can be fun.But my homeboi got swiched so itz not as fun but the person next to me cough cough i wont say names shuld start helpin me lolz instead of keep messin around but i mess around to so itz allllll gud my frnds peece out pplz!!!!

Mr. Gleasland has tested us from see what so much we learn of the technology and for learn other things that we don't known.
I think that the class is interesting but at the time is boring because is talk and talk an talk is theory in general...
so we have do more things like arm something to learn the things=) ,more works in team...

well, in our class we are about to get our comp.notebooks.And we are going to start designing our models and work with tools to build them.i think its gonna be alot of fun.

on the curriculum we yous for rsample the humans bady end the erth sistem.
The other day we finished our models and some of the students raced them in the e-hallway.with our models we had to measure,fold cut and color. when we finished them we could race in the hallways.to see if we are ready for the real thing!
