This week we have been building an air racer. A "car" made from a manila folder that glides across the floor. It uses an air foil on the bottom to reduce the friction (or drag on the floor) by lifting the car slightly into the air. Most of you did fairly well on it, but it definitely looks like we need to teach you two things:
- How to measure with a ruler
- How to read an orthographic drawing with measurements.
Many of you did fine but about one in four of you kept having to re-make your glider because you weren't careful with you measurements in the first place. No doubt you were rushing too much to get it done.

I learn how to do a airplan by my sealf. And iam doing typinmaster so i can learn how to typ.
the air racer was fun . it was kinda hard making it . mine whent pretty farr down the hall way . it was cool .

Well i did like the Air race project because we had fun make the air racer. Think my air racer did good . I had trouble but the end it turned out good.

i liked my racer it was a lot of fun to make butwe should make a small car like that made out of some thing else.
what i think about the project.i think that i would like to make more of this projects.and i like thid project.my racer is good and it goes fast.
this project waz fun.we shld do more even tho i have a lil truble wit da rulers.i kant wait till i can race mine it got a lil bent but were gud.i aint gota chance to race it yet but i am today ducez.
Yo e aprendido en la clase de mr. GEASLAND q es muyb diverttida por q isimos el trabajo del avion y me gusto muchostaria haser mas de computadoras y menos manual.
esta semana me gusto mas por que isimos el preyecto de avion me gustaria que isieramos mas de ese tipo de trabajos y nos a dejado practicar mas como usar la computadora correcta mente esta semana fue de mi agrado por eso gracias y espero que nos ponga a ser mas de esos trabajos
I like it real good. my racer did good but i had to make ajustments on it.

esata semana aprendimos a aser un abion de suelo y tambien aprendimos a como teclear rapido y mejor grasias por ensenarnos todo esto.
el prollecto me gusto por que el abionsito corria rresio y se meiso fasil aserlo y cortaro ojala y me aiga sacado un A+.
esto semana aprendi como aser uno de los mejores aviones de tierra y tambien a usar las tleclas con los dedos indicados para no estar como orita buscando las letras y le prometo que pa la proccima le traire tados los trabagos que me pida.

I think that this to be rather well doing that because we needed to work in like knowing how to measure the things and working with a planner… With this we learned to like on flying between the floor and the friction that gave to the air between the wings of the airplane and the part inferior of the airplane, and is a compared very good activity with those of other countries because in other countries we do not make this type of actividades=) and because like much and would want I to do but of this type…

a mi me gustan los travajo en computadora yo estoy contento de estar en esta clase por que hay computadoras y asi puedo apreder tegnologia o otras cosas pero claro le echo munchas ganas a las clase.

yesterday i finished my air racer. it was really cool! i colored mine blue,green,and pink(from the bottom)i raced mine yesterday but needed to push it right so it can go farther.
Mi opinion es de que fue una buena idea hacer el avion
tambien me gusto por que nos enseno a manejar la computadora,y a saber como saber escribir .

por quetiene mucha pasiensia y por que el y mis. Gardner son muy buenos maestros.
lo que aprendi es que la ciensia y la tecnologia son dos cosas y que tambien a prendi a usar la computadora hocea mover las teclas y que la tecnologia es el estudio de lo que a hecho el hombre y que la ciencia es el estudio de cosas naturales y tambien se como manejar el avion yo aptndi todaas esas cosas.
I am good at this type of project. Writing down measurements of different things, like in robotics. This was easy for me.
