You've had a good taste of your Goldberg project now, and I know some of you are having problems. Your problems will basically boil down to one of three things.
First, you are having problems constructing your machine because you can't figure out how to put things together. This is why you were supposed to draw out a sketch in the planning stage (which many of you did not do.) In order to do this you had to think about what each type of simple machine did and how you would connect them together in a chain. This is much harder to do on the fly when you are building than when you are sketching out a plan. The good news is that even if you had a great plan you would still run into places where you had difficulties. That is normal.
Second, you are having problems with your group. This also is normal. Working together in a productive way is not always easy. It is a very important skill to learn. It is also hard to do when some members of the group do not have the maturity needed to stay on task and they wander around talking to friends. These people are the ones who are always getting fired when they are adults, but they never understand why.
Third, we have the glue gun snag. Because we do not have enough that every group can have their own it can cause problems. There are three ways to work on this problem; 1) share the glue guns, which many of you have been doing, but it does slow things down. 2) get more glue guns, which I am working on. 3) plan out what you are doing so that one day you don't use the gun and get everything else cut, shaped, and ready, then the next day you ask for a glue gun early and take care of everything.

i have had a LOT of problems working with my group, i love to build stuff, but this is fun! :)
Our group just fixed problems.
to many team problems, not being able to do anything at all, but we work together now
Im having trouble with the design but not as much trouble as getting my group to actually work Mike and Alena help sometimes but not lik the should and Alndra isnt helping at all.

I have been having trouble on putting everything together and knowing how to put them. I have been solving my problems by glueing everythingon the right place.
I'm havinq a problem beacuse Daisy n the other qirl arnt helpinq me at all im doinq it by my self!

man it was kinda hared but i kinda get it but no that much
it is really simpel and easyat the same time when you do that
is realy easy and samtime cool for do is abouth the doe little machine.
We have not had any majer trouble with our project. The one thing that was kind of hard was keeping the lever up. We have tried many things and nope noting works. But then we tried putting a lot of glue and it worked.
yea i think that some poeple have it good for them and then on the other hand some people have it just like very bad for them.
